It is supported by Waste & Resources Action Programme (WRAP). It has been developed and is managed by the Aluminium Packaging Recycling Organisation (Alupro)

Novelis

Novelis

Novelis operates Europe’s only dedicated used aluminium can recycling plant in Warrington, Cheshire. The plant has the capacity to recycle every aluminium can sold in the UK for the foreseeable future (currently 6.6 billion cans, which equates to approximately 101,000 tonnes in weight). www.novelisrecycling.co.uk

A .G. Barr p.l.c is the UK’s leading independent manufacturer of branded soft drinks with an annual turnover of over £237m. Established by Robert Barr in 1875, the company now produces a large range of soft drinks including IRN-BRU – which is seen by many as part of the culture of the Scottish Nation – Barr, Rubicon, KA, Strathmore Spring Water, Orangina (under a license agreement with The Orangina Schweppes Group) and Rockstar energy drink (under a license agreement with Rockstar Inc USA). The company employs over 900 people across 11 sites in the UK. Zero Waste Scotland

Zero Waste Scotland works on behalf of the Scottish Government to support the delivery of its Zero Waste Plan. By working with businesses, individuals, communities and local authorities Zero Waste Scotland helps them reduce waste, recycle more and use resources sustainably.
Our work is designed to help Scotland meet its ambitious target of 70% recycling by 2025. Moving towards zero waste could benefit Scotland’s economy by an estimated £178 million, as well as tackling climate change.www.zerowastescotland.org.uk
