Every Can Counts launches at Gunwharf Quay

Thousands of shoppers are now able to recycle their empty drinks cans in three new Every Can Counts can crushers located in the centre’s busiest areas. Recycling boxes and communications materials have also been provided for each of the 95 retail outlets and 30 eateries to use back of house.

Every Can Counts is now up and running at Gunwharf Quays shopping centre in Portsmouth Harbour.
To get the the programme off to a flying start the Every Can Counts team ran promotions in the centre, including our ever-popular football challenge. Hundreds of staff and visitors took part in the activities, and recycling will continue to feature in forthcoming events organised by the Gunwharf Quays team.
Gunwharf Quays is the second shopping centre to introduce Every Can Counts, following our successful launch at Willow Place and Corby Town Centre last year. At both locations Every Can Counts is working in partnership with Land Securities, the commercial property company which owns and manages both shopping centres .
