Quite simply, the sooner you start recycling drinks cans at your workplace, college or Uni, the better! Here's some handy hints to help you start making every can count:

Start recycling at workAt work

If your employer hasn’t heard of Every Can Counts, then we’d like you to tell them about it!

There’s a dedicated section right here on this website aimed specifically at employers, so make sure you forward the link to the relevant people where you work. Alternatively (but obviously not as environmentally friendly!) print it out and pop it in the internal mail.

Generally you’ll find that the Facilities or Waste Management team within your organisation will be responsible for recycling. Failing that, let your line manager know.

There’s a webshop on this website where your organisation will be able to buy a batch of specially branded Every Can Counts recycling boxes. They’re easy to assemble, so can be next to vending machines, desks, in staff break out areas, school and college canteens in no time at all!

If you’ve already got recycling at work but want to use Every Can Counts to encourage people to recycle more that’s fine! Use the webshop to order extra collection boxes or stickers for your existing recycling bins and download the free promotional materials.

Plus there's also free resources right here on this website, which will help to communicate Every Can Counts to everyone.

At college or Uni

At college or Uni

If you’re at college or Uni and are keen to get Every Can Counts up and running, then your first port of call should be the Students Union, Facilities Management or Estates Department, Hall Manager or rep!

Make sure they’re aware of the Every Can Counts website, as there’s plenty of information to help get a scheme started where you are.
