Getting a scheme started

You recycle at home, so why not recycle away-from-home? By this we mean at work, at school, at college and at Uni.

We’re all well aware of the benefits of recycling, and have got into the habit at home.  However we may not have got around to doing it in other areas of our lives. That's why we’ve outlined these three simple steps to setting an Every Can Counts scheme:

Getting a scheme started

1. Tell the boss about it!

There’s plenty of info right here on this website, including the benefits of recycling for businesses - how it can reduce costs, ensure compliance and demonstrate commitment to sustainability. If you’re at college or Uni, then make sure you tell your student union representative or even your halls manager.

2. Tell your work colleagues about it!

Getting your work colleagues enthused about Every Can Counts will help to encourage your employer to get involved too. In fact the more people who know about it the better. So make sure you tell your friends and family too!

3. Get your recycling started

All the resources employers need to collect empty drinks cans and to communicate Every Can Counts effectively are right here on this website. Order eye catching recycling boxes and download a wide range of free publicity materials.

Can you believe it?
