It's a team effort
Whatever the size of your organisation you will need the support and input of several people to get a recycling programme up and running successfully. Larger organisations can call on the Facilities Management team, human resources and marketing departments to set up, run and promote a scheme. In a smaller organisation responsibilities may have to be shared among a smaller team, maybe using volunteers drawn from the staff (we call them recycling 'champions').

Don't forget to tell the cleaners!
Make them aware of the Every Can Counts recycling scheme and give them a bit of advice on what to do with drinks cans collected in the recycling boxes.
Appoint your "Every Can Counts Champion" (or Champions)
Part of the your internal communications for Every Can Counts could be to nominate a champion (or champions, if you're a bigger company or you're filled with super-keen recyclers). You’ll find there’s always someone who can be relied on to rally other people and get them into the habit of putting their empty drinks cans into the Every Can Counts boxes!
Tell everyone!
As well as nominating your Every Can Counts Champion, make sure your the rest of the team know about it. After all Every Can Counts can only ever be as successful as the number of people in your organisation who actually put their empty drinks cans into the recycling box.
Include the information on the agenda for internal meetings, business updates and conference calls, use the company intranet - get that message out there!
Combine all your internal chats with FREE resources from this website. Put the posters up in staff kitchens, break-out areas and next to vending machines. Add screensavers and wallpapers to PCs and why not add a button to link to this website?
It all adds up to get the message out that your organisation is committed to making every can count!
