BBC Good Food Show 15th – 19th June

Every Can Counts exhibited at the BBC Good Food Show providing information on everything you ever wanted to know about why recycling your metal matters!

Food and drink cans, foil trays and aerosols are found throughout the home. In your kitchen cupboards and the fridge, in your utility room and on your bathroom shelf. Everything from ready meals to furniture polish to toothpaste is packaged using metal, and it is all 100% recyclable.

The Every Can Counts team were on hand to answer questions about what can be recycled, where and how; and explain what happens to metal packaging once you’ve put it into your recycling bin, bag or box.

Thanks to all those who visited our stand to find out more about metal recycling, pick up a free can of refreshing sparkling water and enter a draw to win a gorgeous hamper full of food and drink contained in metal packaging – all 100% recyclable.

The five days were extremely busy and a great success for raising awareness of metals recycling. We can rest assured that more people across the country now know what they can and can’t recycle where!
